Guardian Petrolatum Tape MT is a marine-grade petrolatum tape designed for long-term corrosion protection within Guardian Splash-Zone Protection Systems.

Manufactured from non-woven polyester fabric fully impregnated with petrolatum compound, the tape incorporates blended inert fillers, corrosion inhibitors, thermal extenders, and wide-spectrum biocides to deliver reliable protection in aggressive marine and offshore environments.

Its non-hardening formulation allows the tape to accommodate substrate movement, vibration, and thermal expansion while maintaining long-term surface protection performance. Manufactured in accordance with AWWA C217-14, Guardian Petrolatum Tape MT is suitable for splash-zone applications where assets are exposed to saltwater, wet/dry cycling, abrasion, and harsh environmental conditions.
